How can we help?
Tickets & entry
Where are my tickets?
Open My Tickets. Every ticket you buy is saved to your account, and we also email it to you (and send it on WhatsApp if you added your number).
Why didn't my screenshot work at the gate?
Tickets use a live QR that changes every 15 seconds, so screenshots and forwarded copies don't work. Open the live ticket in the app or website at the gate. It works without internet too.
Do my tickets work without internet?
Yes. Open your tickets once while you're online, and they keep working on that phone even with no signal at the venue.
Can I send my ticket to a friend?
Yes, if the organizer allows it. Open the ticket, tap Transfer and type your friend's name and email. Each ticket can be transferred once, until the show starts; your copy is cancelled and your friend gets a new QR. No TapMyTicket account yet? Your friend gets an email and the ticket appears when they log in with that email — until then you can cancel the transfer.
Refunds always go to the person who paid: if the event is cancelled, the money comes back to you, not your friend.
I changed my phone. How do I get my tickets back?
Log in on the new phone with the same email or Google account. All your tickets come back automatically.
Prices & payments
Is the price I see the final price?
Yes. Every price on TapMyTicket already includes our fee and GST. Nothing is added at checkout. Tap the price to see the breakup. See Pricing.
Money was deducted but I didn't get a ticket
Don't worry. If a payment doesn't turn into a ticket, it is refunded automatically within 5–7 working days.
If it hasn't come back by then, contact us with the payment reference from your bank or UPI app.
Which payment methods can I use?
UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets, through Razorpay's secure checkout.
Why does my bank statement say STEANGJEAR?
TapMyTicket is a brand of STEANGJEAR PVT LTD. Your bank or UPI app may show either name for your ticket payment.
Refunds & resale
When do I get my refund?
Within 5–7 working days after the refund is approved, to your original payment method. Each event's refund window is shown on the event page. See the Refund Policy.
Is the platform fee refunded?
Not when you ask for a refund yourself: you get the ticket price back as the event's policy allows. If the organizer cancels, you get everything back except the bank's payment-processing charge shown in your price breakup.
What if the event is cancelled?
You get your refund automatically, you don't need to ask: everything you paid except the bank's payment-processing charge shown in your price breakup (about 2%). See the Refund Policy.
What is the payment-processing charge?
It's what the bank and payment network charge to handle your payment, about 2% of the price, shown as its own line in the price breakup. It's already inside the all-in price you see. Like with most payments, it isn't returned when an event is cancelled.
How does resale work?
Can't go? Open the ticket and tap "Can't go? Resell". You can ask up to the face value. When it sells, your QR is cancelled, the buyer gets a new one and you're paid after the event. See Resale Terms.
